The connectors are evaluated in the order shown on the left. If you have a search term such as: drug w/5 kingpin OR drug w/5 dealer and death penalty Lexis Nexis will first combine kingpin OR drug first because the OR operator is processed before the W/5 processor. The phrase should be entered using parenthesis: (drug w/5 kingpin) OR (drug w/5 dealer) and death penalty |

| PROBLEMS ACCESSING LEXIS-NEXIS? Currently, you can ONLY access Lexis-Nexis from the school. You cannot get to Lexis from home, work or any other computer. We are working on setting up the server to allow access from any computer; however, this will not be available until late 2002. If you are at school and cannot access Lexis please see a librarian. |
